Frequently asked questions about this tour

We are coming as a day trip from Vienna, is there enough time for this tour?

Yes, it’s the classic. By hydrofoil or train, you can reach Bratislava in about an hour and will have plenty of time after the tour for coffee, lunch, or your own exploration before heading back.

Is the route to the castle strenuous?

The path to the castle leads uphill through alleys and steps, but is easily manageable at a normal pace. We adjust the pace to the group, and anyone who wishes can take breaks.

Do we also go inside St Martin’s Cathedral?

A brief visit inside is usually part of the tour, provided there is no service or event taking place. Otherwise, we view the church from the outside and your guide explains its role as the coronation church.
