Frequently asked questions about this tour
Does this route work well in the rain?
Yes, the paths are mostly in narrow lanes and along the Pegnitz and are easy to walk even in the rain. We still recommend sturdy, weatherproof footwear, as some sections have cobblestones.
What is the route like, are there stairs?
The route is mostly flat, with some sections over cobblestones. A few short flights of stairs at the bridges are possible, but can be avoided on request.
Can this tour be combined with the highlight tour?
Yes, many guests combine both tours into a longer walk that connects well-known sights with the quieter corners of the Old Town. Please mention this when booking.
