Do we actually climb up to the ruin at Dürnstein?
Yes, the path up is uphill and steep in places. Sturdy shoes are recommended, and the climb takes roughly a quarter of an hour at a brisk pace.
Is entry to Melk Abbey included?
No, the tour shows you the complex from the outside or, depending on what we agree, part of the grounds. Entry tickets to the abbey interior are not included in the guide fee and are arranged separately.
Do we travel between Melk and Dürnstein by bus or by boat?
That depends on your booking and the season. We arrange the journey between the two locations with you in advance, whether by your own vehicle, public transport or boat.
