This cycling tour shows Vienna’s open, green side: the long Danube Island with its riverbanks and the Prater with its famous main avenue. Ideal for anyone who prefers to explore the city by bike rather than on foot.

The route

  1. Meeting point on the Danubestarting at a central landing stage or a bike rental point.

How long is the route in total?

Depending on the chosen option, the route is approximately 15 to 25 kilometers. We adjust the exact length to the group’s fitness level and time budget.

Is the route suitable for inexperienced cyclists?

Danube Island and Prater main avenue are flat and have little traffic, making them well-suited for less experienced cyclists. If you’re unsure, we can discuss the pace beforehand.
