Frequently asked questions

Does this route work well in the rain?

Yes, the route mostly follows narrow lanes and the riverbank, which stay walkable in the rain. We would still recommend sturdy, weatherproof shoes, as some stretches are cobbled.

What is the terrain like, are there any steps?

The route is mostly flat, with cobbled stretches here and there. A few short flights of steps near the bridges are possible but can be avoided if you let us know.

Can this be combined with the Highlights tour?

Yes, many guests combine both tours into one longer walk that pairs the famous sights with the quieter corners of the old town. Just mention it when you book.
